The Flow Project
Flow is a data-flow management system
that provides a high-level visualization
of the end-to-end data flow.
While displaying the end-to-end latency and bandwidth data, Flow allow users to highlight problematic areas within the data pipeline for in-depth debugging and analysis.
Initial design explorations
I began exploring ideas with key stakeholders on how to best display the data pipeline visually,
while incorporating intuitive interactions to display crucial information and data.
Adopted interface design
Through various iterations and cross team interactions, we were able to adopt the final interface design for Flow.
We wanted to achieve a look and feel that was unlike any other data pipeline management interface on the market today,
by utilizing color to create visual hierarchy and making actionable items intuitive and easy to understand at a glance.
We’ve also conducted customer user testing and demos throughout the entire design process
to fine tune the UI to meet the needs of our users.
One of the core objectives for the Flow project was to identify and create a Common library that can be shared
cross team for consistency and efficiency
